Sunshine Solar Services, Inc of Fort Lauderdale along with Tim Graboski Roofing of Delray Beach installed the first Solar Tile System in Florida on a home being built by Custom Home Builders of Boca Raton . The system uses the Eagle Solar tile system developed by Open Energy and manufactured by SunTech. The system generates about 4400 watts of power and is hurricane and rain resistant to Miami Dade standards as long as the special installation method is adhered to.
