Day 3 was muddy, tiresome, and slow. After the weekend’s rain we decided to tough it out and push through!

Here is a time lapse video I made of the Proven 15kw machine I helped install on Avon Mountain in CT. The site was very tight so we couldn’t position the camera any farther back, so you have a very good view of us assembling the machine. We stacked the tower due to space restraints – lower 40′ and then the upper 60′ plus the turbine. We actually lifted the upper 60′ twice. It was a 7000lb lift and we barely made it after lowering and adjusting the slings to gain a few inches. Everything went together safely of course and a good time was had by all 🙂
