I am doing a science fair project that includes making a 6 volt remote control car solar powered. I cannot find a 6 volt solar cell, but I was wondering if I could use 3 separate 2 volt solar cells?

yes it does work given each cell gets up to .5 – 1 watt you could series them to get a total of 6V
do same as it would with the battery

why you also need some amps to turn the motor.
