Do commercial solar power plants sell to households?

or do they just sell to commercial/industrial businesses?
also…what’s the difference between commercial and household solar power?

1. Some electricity providers allow you to pay extra so that all your power can be received from solar power. Contact your local power source to find out if this is an option for you. If you’re in the North, it’s less likely.

2. Household solar power is where you own the panels. You can sell excess electricity back to the power company.

Solar power can also be used for hot water heating in the southern United States, which is probably the most cost effective use of solar power. Even people not interested in energy independence and green issues get solar water heating.
